A Bold Vision for Empowered Communities

At Buntu Group, technology is more than hardware or software -- it's a catalyst for change. That's why we've partnered with Resilient Health Portal and Phambili SA to launch our most ambitious project yet: the Community Hubs Project.

Over the next five years, we are rolling out over 10,000 community hubs across South Africa -- from small in-store kiosks to full-service multi-room facilities -- designed to bring essential services, digital access, and opportunity directly into the heart of underserved communities.

What is a Community Hub?

A Community Hub is a physical space where people can:

• Access health services and assessments
• Get support with technology
• Connect to the internet and public resources
• Engage in education, training, and the arts
• Discover economic opportunities

 

Each hub is shaped around four core service zones:

• Community Health Hub
• Community Empowerment Hub
• Community Connect Hub
• Community Arts Hub

Sustainable Impact Through Collaboration

Our key partners in this project are Resilient Health Portal and Phambili SA

Buntu Group builds and powers the system -- aligning social impact with sustainable business.

Resilient Health Portal uses the hubs to extend its health assessment and care coordination services to both public and privately insured patients.

Phambili SA drives the community development and fundraising efforts that enable free access to healthcare, economic opportunities, education, and the arts.

Together, we're creating a new model for delivering vital services in a way that's scalable, inclusive, and deeply local.
